Most questions about Ease are answered below. If yours is not, write to us—a person reads every message.

Email us

We usually reply within two business days.

Including these gets you a real answer the first time:

  • Your device and iOS version, and the Ease version at the bottom of Settings.
  • The email address on your Ease account.
  • For anything about billing, the Apple Account email that made the purchase.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

Subscription and billing

How does the free trial work?

Ease begins with 7 days free. The whole plan is unlocked during those days—nothing is held back. The subscription starts when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then. During onboarding you can ask Ease to remind you two or three days before the trial is up.

How do I cancel?

Subscriptions are billed by Apple, so they are cancelled through Apple. Open Settings inside Ease and tap Manage subscription, or go to the iOS Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Ease. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep access until the period you have already paid for ends.

I already paid, but Ease is asking me to subscribe.

This is almost always a different Apple Account, or a new device that has not seen the receipt yet. Open Settings inside Ease and tap Restore purchases while signed in to the Apple Account that bought the subscription. If it still asks, email us and we will look it up from our side.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by Ease—we can explain a charge, but only Apple can reverse one. Request it from Apple directly, and tell us if something in the app caused it so we can fix that part.

Does Ease see my card details?

No. Apple processes the payment and tells us only whether your subscription is active. We never receive a card number.

Your account

I cannot sign in.

You can sign in with email, Apple, or Google, and each one makes a separate account—so signing in with Apple will not find a plan created with an email address. Use the method you started with. For an email account, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we will send a reset link.

Can I use Ease on more than one device?

Yes. Your plan and progress are stored with your account, so signing in on another iPhone brings them along. Your subscription follows the Apple Account that bought it.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings inside Ease and tap Delete account. It permanently removes your account, your plan, your practice history, and any recordings in your vault. It does not cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that first if one is active.

Practice, reminders, and audio

My daily reminder is not arriving.

Check the time first: Settings inside Ease, then Daily reminder. If the time is right, iOS may be holding the notification—open the iOS Settings app, find Ease under Notifications, and make sure Allow Notifications is on and a Focus mode is not filtering it.

The guidance will not play.

Check the ring/silent switch and the volume first. Later days fetch their audio the first time you open them, so a weak connection can stall a day that has not been opened before—reopen it once you have signal. Every session can also be read instead of heard.

Can I change how long a session is?

Yes. A session runs about 5, 10, 15, or 20 minutes, and you can change your pace whenever the day does not fit the one you picked during onboarding.

I missed a few days.

Nothing is lost and nothing is penalised. Ease has no streak to protect—open the app and continue from where you stopped.

Privacy and recordings

Do I have to record myself?

No. Ease never requires a recording to practise, and it does not listen in the background. Recording a take is something you choose, one moment at a time.

Where do my recordings go?

Into your own private vault, stored under your account so only you can play them back. Nothing is broadcast, shared with other people, or scored against anyone else. Deleting your account deletes the recordings with it.

What happens to my answers?

The answers you give during onboarding shape your plan and stay attached to your account. The Privacy Policy sets out what is stored and how long it is kept.
